Reporting a
Fault.

Under Regulation 7 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, the Responsible Person for any high-rise residential building must carry out monthly checks on key firefighting equipment.

If a fault is found and cannot be fixed within 24 hours, it must be reported to the local Fire and Rescue Service as soon as possible.

Once the fault has been repaired, the Fire and Rescue Service must be notified again.
