External Wall
Reporting.

Under Regulation 5 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, the Responsible Person for any high-rise residential building must prepare a detailed record of the building’s external wall design.

This record must include:

• The materials used in the external walls

• The level of risk identified in the fire risk assessment

• Any measures taken to reduce or manage that risk

Under Regulation 11, the Responsible Person is required to provide a copy of this external wall record to the local Fire and Rescue Service.​
