Notification and Marking of Sites Regulations 1990 for Dangerous Substances.

Under the NAMOS Regulations, you must notify your local Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) and the HSE/local authority if your site stores 25 tonnes or more of dangerous substances.​

You must also notify your FRS if you store 150 tonnes or more of “relevant ammonium nitrate mixtures” (ammonium nitrate or mixtures with more than 15.75% nitrogen by weight).
