Environmental Requests.

We hold records of sites which currently hold a petroleum storage certificate and those that have historically stored petrol.

Northumberland Fire and Rescue have responsibility for petroleum licensing. Where a landowner, developer, or potential purchaser requires an environmental search they should contact us with Environmental Request using firesafety1@northumberland.gov.uk.

There is a charge for the search and in most cases, we respond within 20 working days. More information about charges and timescales can be provided following request made.
