West Hartford Headquarters and Community Fire Station is staffed by full-time firefighters and is the base for two fire engines, a Special Rescue Unit, multi-purpose 4x4 vehicles, multi-purpose vans, a minibus and a fire investigation unit.
​
The station also has a commercial training unit and an additional training fire engine. This location is also the base for the NFRS Boxing Academy.
